The new Paulding Northwest Atlanta Airport (KPUJ) is located 30 miles northwest of downtown Atlanta, and the airport’s suburban location provides a logical alternative to the congestion of metro Atlanta. The airport opened for aircraft operations with a ribbon-cutting in November of 2008.
The airport’s 5,500 foot runway (13-31) is open for aircraft operations. The PUJ Airport Authority is currently accepting RFP’s (Request for Proposal) for the new terminal building and FBO, which is currently under construction and scheduled for completion in April of 2010. An additional RFP is also available for parties interested in hangar development and construction.
